Tsunami Relief

In partnership with a local Round Table organisation, Andrews Sykes donated two GP80 diesel pumps to help support the Asian Tsunami relief effort in Sri Lanka. Our local depot received a call asking if any pumps could be donated to help clear seawater that had contaminated freshwater wells. Very shortly after, two GP80 pumps had been sprayed, tested and delivered to Heathrow Airport to meet the plane for despatch to Sri Lanka.
