Electric submersible

Hydraulic submersible
When suction lift requirements exceed nine metres for diesel driven pumpsets, the ideal solution is using a hydraulically driven submersible pump: a centrifugal solids handling pump driven by an integral hydraulic motor.

General purpose
For sustained performance and maximum reliability, our pumps are hard to beat, handling everything from clean water to sludge and slurry. Precision manufactured, they feature hardwearing cast-iron parts and corrosion resistant materials throughout.

Super silenced
 Sykes Pumps has again raised the bar in low-noise pumping without compromising on power, reliability and flexibility. Our Super Silenced Pump units are the benchmark against which other pumps will be measured, not least due to noise levels set at a maximum of 62 decibels at seven metres plus exceptional Telemetry facilities for remote pump operations and monitoring.

Silenced range
Wispaset advanced pumps mean your operations won't fall foul of noise control problems. These super-silent units deliver the power you need while exceeding the requirements of European and global noise legislation. Air pumps
With pump sizes ranging from 25mm to 75mm, our range of air-operated double diaphragm pumps are available with a combination of aluminium cast iron or stainless steel wetted parts and centre sections, with a choice of elastomer option materials. Options are also available for the specific transfer of aggressive liquids, or the hygienic handling of food substances.

Pump Hoses & Accessories

Sykes Pumps have been synonymous with the pumping industry for well over 150 years. Our reputation for quality and service has been one of the prime reasons why the name Sykes Pumps is, today, almost a generic term for contractors pumping equipment. With one of the largest pump fleets and vast supplies of hoses and accessories available we have all your requirements available at all times. The diversity of duties that our pumps are required to perform mean that this range of hoses and accessories must be just as versatile.

Hoses
Sykes Pumps offers the most comprehensive range of hoses to accompany our pump range. We stock Wire Armoured – suction hose, Heliflex, Poly Tube delivery hose, Heavy Duty Hose, High Pressure Hoses, Galvanised Steel Pipe, Lay flat delivery hose and High Pressure Lay flat hose.


Fittings
We provide both Quick Release Couplings together with Intakes and Strainers. Simple, speedy and secure, Sykes quick release couplings enable rapid connections of suction and discharge lines. In addition we also offer various intakes and strainers that are available for a number of applications.


Panels
Along with a comprehensive range of submersible pumps, Sykes also offer a full selection of control panels. The panels enable the user to leave pumps unattended for long periods whilst improving safety; efficiency and reducing wear on the pump.



Settlement
Sykes offer a range of settlement tanks to be used on the discharge side of any pump set. These tanks are specially designed to prevent silt and fines being discharged into the water course or drains. Each tank is provided with a series of weir plates, Bauer quick release couplings, lifting eyes and drain plugs.


Drip Trays
Drip trays can be provided with most pumps to avoid environmental pollution due to fuel spillage or oil spillage when refuelling or maintaining the pump set. Even if the pump has a built in drip tray an additional full length tray gives extra protection. Environmental authorities would insist on using drip trays whilst working close to waterways or when there is a risk of water pollution

Fuel Tanks
The safe transportation and storage of fuel, especially in environmentally sensitive areas, is an increasing concern for all. Sykes offers a purpose built range of fully bunded fuel tanks for hire with a capacity range from 1000 to 3000 Litres. Fully compliant and tested to ADR and UN requirements for IBC, all manufactured under ISO 9001: 2000 requirements.

You also have access to an unbeatable range of suction and delivery hoses including high performance hoses, pipes, tubing, wire armoured, rubber coated, poly tubing, fire galvanised hose, lay flat, PVC, and heliflex. Coupled with a range of fittings to complement the varying hoses, such as Bauer quick release couplings, flanged and NP16 including various intakes and strainers.
