Andrews provided 17 PAC22 portable air conditioning units for a major international cricket fixture. The equipment was used in the corporate hospitality lounge for the series sponsors. However hot the action on the pitch, all the guests were cool and comfortable.
Cricket International
The day before a one-day Cricket International in the North East, Andrews received a call requesting cooling for the hospitality area. Temperatures had hit the high 20s and the ground hadn't prepared. We visited, decided what was needed and, the evening before the prestigious match, delivered and installed a 100kW chiller plus six fan coils and generator. The client heard of us through our sponsorship and advertising on Talk SPORT radio - and were delighted with the results.
World’s premier lawn Tennis
Andrews Sykes has helped one of the world's premier lawn tennis and racket clubs deal with temperature control problems at a major annual championship. For example, in 2002 we provided comfort cooling for VIP dining areas and players' lounges, converted for the event from indoor courts. To ensure a comfortable environment, Andrews advised the club on the best solution then supplied and installed a 200kW chiller with internal air handling units and a quiet running generator, creating a comfortable environment for guests.
